Some Real Hipster Hits on this one, including classic grooves from the excellent production minds of Madlib (Madvillain), Dangermouse (Gnarls Barkley), The Avalanches, and Knxwledge (NxWorries). A couple classics on here, as well, with The Stranglers and, of course, Four Tops gorgeous “Walk Away Renee.” On the harder side, Turnstile’s T.L.C. always gets me going, and Paramore’s “This Is Why” is proof that groove is the best thing for a song, no matter the genre.
